How it works

From first contact to ongoing follow-up, every step is designed to make veterinary care simple and accessible.

  1. 01

    Book

Get in touch via WhatsApp, email, or the form. Briefly describe your animal's situation (age, symptoms, history) and your area. Stefania responds personally, assesses urgency, and proposes available dates. Everything confirmed within 24 hours.

    • WhatsApp: quick reply, ideal for urgent situations
    • Email: for routine consultations and planned scheduling
    • Online form: available 24/7
  2. 02

    Prepare

Before the visit, you'll receive an email with prep guidance. Usually it's enough to have the animal in a comfortable space and, if possible, a flat surface for the exam. If you have clinical history or previous test results, keep them at hand.

  3. 03

    Consultation

Stefania arrives on time with all the necessary equipment. The visit lasts 30–60 minutes depending on the case. The animal stays in their environment — sofa, garden, wherever they feel safe. After the exam, clear explanation of diagnosis, treatment options, and prescription if needed.

  4. 04

    Follow-up

After the visit you'll receive the clinical report by email. If medication is prescribed, detailed dosage instructions are included. Stefania stays reachable via WhatsApp for any question or unexpected change. Follow-up visits can be scheduled as needed: care is continuous, not transactional.

Frequently asked questions

Which areas are covered?

Lagos, Sagres, Aljezur, and surrounding areas in the western Algarve. Visits within approximately 30 km. If you're outside this zone, get in touch — it may still be possible.

How much is a consultation?

Pricing depends on travel zone, expected duration, and consultation type. Get in touch for a personalised quote. No hidden fees — the price agreed is the final price.

Can lab tests and imaging be done?

Yes. Depending on the case, Stefania can collect samples for lab analysis or recommend imaging (radiography, ultrasound) in partnership with local clinics.

What about emergencies?

For severe emergencies (trauma, acute respiratory distress, bleeding), go to the nearest emergency veterinary clinic. For urgent-but-not-critical situations, contact via WhatsApp — Stefania will assess and prioritise.

Do you see cats and dogs?

Yes — small animals (cats, dogs, rabbits, ferrets). Specialised in cats and dogs; other small animals can be evaluated case by case.

Do I need to be present during the visit?

Yes — it's important that the owner is present to provide clinical history, observe the exam, and receive treatment instructions.
